The Advantages of Spring Trees

Spring Trees

Trees are a great way to add long lasting color and life to your landscape.  Most of us love to see the color in spring time because it signifies that winter is over, and warm weather is on the way.  Here are some trees that will look amazing during that time of year.  The Japanese Dogwood is beautiful and as a bonus will look great all year long.  It has amazing white flowers that bloom later in the spring and will have purple and red leaves during autumn.  They grow anywhere from fifteen to twenty-five feet tall and can have a spread as wide as twenty-five feet.  It grows best in climate zones through eight and is also deer resistant.  They grow in many soil conditions and grow slow. The Star Magnolia is also a great choice.  It has large beautiful white blooms that will make your yard smell amazing.  They grow anywhere from fifteen to twenty feet tall and can have a spread as wide as fifteen feet in optimal conditions.  Another great choice is the Saucer Magnolia. They can also have a spread as wide as twenty-five feet.  They have saucer shaped blooms, which is where it gets its name.  The blooms will be pink to purple in color, and it can grow in various soil conditions.  It grows fairly quickly and will be round.  Another great choice is the Eastern Redbud.  It will have beautiful pink blooms that appear in early spring, and the foliage is also spectacular.  The leaves go from green to reddish brown during the fall time of the year and can grow anywhere from twenty to thirty feet tall. Try one of these trees in your landscape for amazing spring color. Trees can not only make one's yard look good but can also add value.
